start Kyle...move CJ to the bench?

I said this a few games ago. It seems that Korver from the bench has not been a viable option for him as far as consistency goes. The same can be said for CJ as a starter. Both are struggling, perhaps a change of scenery is needed for both. CJ refuses to rebound, why not let him be a scoring threat off the bench. CJ played his best ball coming off the bench, Korver his best ball (in Phila) as a starter.
Kyle gets the start tonight and has the best game of his Jazz career with a near double double.
Its one game, but Korver has proven he is a rebounder. Teams respect K2 more on the floor, which opens the floor up more and he is a better team defender and mid-range shooter.

makes sense but I doubt it happens as Sloan hates change. Im not a big Korver fan as I feel he is a very over-rated shooter but he does get more respect than Miles from other teams. Miles goes to bench and either strives or tanks it by pouting.

Yes because you have so much credibility on here.
I hear we should trade Deron, Memo and Millsap and the 2010 NY pick and all of future picks for 20 yrs for Amare.

It would make a lot of sense. Korver would get a lot more open looks playing with D-Will and the starters, especially once (if) Boozer comes back and would have a much easier time getting into a rhythm. His inability to create his own shot can be somewhat of a problem playing with the second unit. C.J. on the other hand, has the talent and athleticism to get shots and put up points regardless of who he's playing with and could be an extremely valuable scoring option off the bench.

IIRC, Korver was moved to a bench in Philly, just because he was better as a Sixth Man.
But I'm with you, Sheik - move KK to starting line-up. We need to rebound the ball and shoot the 3's!!!

We don't need to shoot 3's^^. But I'm down with having Korver start, especially if it gets Miles motivated to play better.

Kyle made the best out of this opportunity, cant argue with 20 and 9.
...CJ has tried, but definitely not as effective as Kyle was yesterday. WE need to all understand that Kyle is a streaky shooter, the Mavs game he was ON point. Just doesn't seem to stay very long.
If Sloan decides to make the change I hope it comes once Boozer gets back, because I think CJ is more suited to play without Boozer because of his slashing ability.

You forgot Brewer and AK....

The Jazz definitely need to make this switch. My guess is CJ comes back, plays a couple of games, then gets the boot. Sloan doesn't allow injuries to change a plaers role when they come back, but my guess is he see's how much better the starters were with KK in the line up.

I'm all for this. Even when Korver's ice cold (and that happens a LOT), I still think he's more valuable overall than CJ. I thought Miles had finally vindicated all of his backers, but that didn't last terribly long, sadly. Maybe a sixth man role will get him going again.

I totally agree with BigMann here. Korver's shooting percentage on the road this season is not very good, he is very streaky. Lets see how he plays tonight on the road if CJ can't go.
I wouldn't give up on CJ starting just yet, he had a few very good games in the last couple of weeks

You realize you just made the case for CJ not starting.

im sold. im hopping on the "start korver" bandwagon. 2/2 when korver starts
I love Cj Miles but hes just not the guy who should be in the starting 5.

...Then he goes 2/8 from beyond the arc in a blow-out.
With the exception of DWill, this team drives me up the wall. Either suck or don't, I don't care, but stop playing with my heart! Be consistent!
