We should trade Boozer for Kaman

Post#1 » by BarneyGumble » Thu Feb 12, 2009 11:25 pm

I'm 100% serious. Ive always liked Kaman's game. He's a real center...that's rare now. He rebounds, blocks shots, shoots good FTs, and is all around decent. We move Okur to PF and let him stroke that Malone-esque 10-18 footer all night.

The Clippers are clearly trying to save Sterling's remaining coin in this bad economy. After Booz' public declaration to opt out, I'm sure we could swing a deal. THe only problem is if Booz goes back on his word and does not opt out (which I am sure will happen if he stays w/ the Jazz...look at Elton Brand, nobodies gunna be dumb enough to sign anyone to a LT deal after an entire year of injuries. Look at the Wiz and Agent 0  )

How can we make it happen?

I'd rather let Kaman fart in my face.

Have people forgotten what this team has done in the playoffs the last couple of years?

Jazz fans are always whining about something, so I usually just ignore this kind of stuff. And also, keep proposing your meaningless trades. I'm sure one might come to close to actually happening...someday....

Yes. They've been eliminated by teams with better defensive bigs and/or more length.

That said, I don't want to trade for Kaman, but the idea isn't altogether ridiculous. Sure, let's hold ship and see what happens when we get our guys back. We will probably be contenders. At the same time, Boozer and Okur will still play horrible defense together, returning us to our former status of flakiest elite team in the league.

So we should trade an injured All-Star for an injured nobody?

Yeah, that will make our team better........
