Either Boozer straight across, or Boozer with some other incentives (draft picks, Morris Almond, Fesenko, etc). Or maybe a package of Boozer/Korver/2010 New York pick for Bosh/Kapono and whatever is needed to make salaries match.

Boozer sign and trade w/ the 2010 knicks pick and the only condition is Bosh has to work out an extension with us or else the deal is a no go.

That would have to be a midseason thing, as extended players can't be traded for a long time. I don';t think working out a preconditioned extension is within the rules either.

It would be a mistake to trade the 2010 pick for Bosh to have him for just a season. If the lottery were today we'd have the 11th best shot at the 1st pick, next year they can get worse or better, but either way there is a shot at picking up a terrific player who would get 2-4 million a year, and that's just too much a risk to pass on for a year of Bosh, who's basically Boozer without the rebounding (22.3ppg and 9.6rpg, in 38mpg). Bosh's per 36 scoring is not better than Boozer at full strength, so what's the point? Besides whether we loose Boozer this year, or next year, or have Bosh for another season, we have to make a decision to drop one of out top big men, Okur, Boozer, or Millsap, and I think it has to be Boozer, and we couldn't resign Bosh if we were to trade for him, not if we want to keep Millsap, for about half the price.

Boozer and one of Fes/Almond/ and maybe CJ or a first rounder but not the NY pick.

Didn't Garnett work out an extension with Boston before the trade?

It really is interesting that even a few fans would part with Boozer for Bosh. Carlos is better in virtually every measurable category, and is far more prolific rebounder.

Well, I am talking on a "We are losing Boozer" POV. And also, Bosh would have better numbers on the Jazz, as long as he can pick and roll.
