Would you guys consider this trade w/OKC?

Hello Jazz fans, let me just congratulate you all for living in a glorious conservative state with sound, competent conservative leaders that have positioned you all to be in a FAR better position in this recession thanks to them sticking with fundamental conservative principles. No wonder Utah is doing FAR better than all these states run by incompetent liberals and their handout nanny-state approach to governing. Your beautiful state is thriving, and I salute you all for it!

Anyhow, back to basketball now.

Would you guys ever consider anything outside of KD, Green, Westbrook from OKC for Brewer? Would you guys package Brewer with someone you want to get rid off for Nick Collison, late 1st rd pick, and Earl Watson (expiring $6 mil after next season)?

Thanks in adavnce!

I have to wonder if I'd even trade him for Green.

You can disagree with my trade proposal, but everything stated about the great state of Utah was FACT. If fact and truth rile up the inner partisan bitterness within you and coulds your ability to see things for what they are, thats unfortunate.

Ronnie Brewer's last 5 games:

20.4 points
5.6 rebounds
2.2 assists
2.6 steals
1.6 blocks
1.2 turnovers
58% Field Goal
40% 3 Point
76% Free Throw

We better get used to fans from other teams asking us if he's available. Might save them some time by saying NO. NO. A thousand times NO.

KD_Stan,

Thanks for the kind comments about the state even though it's not all quite true. :) You recognize what we do about Brewer, he is one of the 5 best SG's in the conference, and probably 1 of the 10-12 best SG's in the game right now, making nothing and producing everything, just like we have in Milsap. There really isn't anything the Jazz need badly enough to consider giving him up to other teams unless we can land one of the top 5 SG's in the game.

Our biggest problem, and it's a fantastic one to have is how do we afford in the next three years all of these fantastic, young players and the salaries they will require and deserve?

We could have DWill, Brewer, AK, Milsap, Okur, Boozer and our NY 2010 pick wanting (justifiably) $8 million or more a year per player. Come back in a year or two, and we'll chat with you about a need for expiring contracts then..

Even more reasons to love Brewer, he is just a good kid. Team player, not selfish, knows his role and thrives in it.

Has improved every year in the league due to a tremendous work ethic. Has the athletic ability and determination to become a top tier defensive player. He is already a fine defensive player.

And to think some Jazz fans were pissed when Reddick was drafted and Brewer fell right into our laps.

I'll trade you Ronnie Brewer and all of the horrible conservatives up top (With the exception of Huntsman who seems to be a solid guy) for KD.

i dont have any party affiliation, but it is rather naive to ignore the conservative leadership full of religious freaks that ran this country into the ground.

again, you're just a brainwashed "progressive" regurgitating liberal talking points like "the religious right ran this country into the ground"

your messiah Obama just wasted more money in his 1st month as president as bush did in 8 years with 2 wars and everything else.

Have fun living in your little fantasy world while your community organizer along with the freak pelosi REALLY run your country into the ground

Bill Clinton, as he was tap-dancing out of office in 99 signed off on the community reinvestment act which was the main culprit of running the mortgage industry into the ground, which brought down all these financial institutions, which then brought us the beautiful economic meltdown we have today that you un-savyy impressionable slaves to the liberal lies are attributing to George Bush.

Make sure you tell your kids and grandkids you supported this current president which put an anchor of debt on their futures, they'll be really proud of you.

Plus since we're on Clinton, point to one policy from his 8 years that made this country better off. Please refrain from hurling uneducated generic talking points like "but our economy was great under him". He inherited an economy already on an upswing from Bush Sr., then the dot com bubble happened which was nothing that could be attributed to him, and this bubble burst right as he left office

Listen Bill O'Reilly, you're never going to open up your views to anything outside of your narrow minded beliefs, so I'm not going to bother getting into it with you because a basketball website isn't anywhere near the place to do it. But if you can't see Bush's epic failures and how they have weighed on the overall well being of the entire world with the exception of the war profiteers, then you are more ignorant then I could ever imagine.

Go pocket every cent to make, claiming that if you ever make enough you'll let it "trickle down" to those in need, and quit bothering us on a basketball website.

If you want to see why the US is in such a polar state with one of the highest unemployment rates in the countries history, and yet some of the richest billionaires in the world's history, go read up on you beloved Reagonomics. Try holding on to those stone age idea's for a little longer. We know your scared to act on things that might make those at the top take a hit, but people who weren't born in the same neighborhood as your deserve a chance too.

LOL @ disagreeing with your beliefs automatically qualifying as "narrow minded" while your opinions, on the strength of them being your opinions, are right and open minded.

Get off your high horse.

And yes, that "trickle down" economics by Reagan brought us out of an even worse situation than we're in now, so it has a track record of success, while I dare you to reference a single case of "trickle up" economics working?

You are a victim of class envy, and generic left wing propaganda.

Whats worse is that you label anyone that has the audacity to disagree with you as closed minded. No sir, my mind is open, and I have facts and historical precedents that form my opinions. You on the other hand have Barack Obama campaign talking points forming your thoughts and opinions.
