Would be better our team with a player like Ostertag?

Post#1 » by FJS » Fri Apr 3, 2009 8:48 pm

Allright, Ostertag was really desesperating.
Slow, fat, uneffective in offense, but he anchored the deffense, blocked some shots and deflecting a lot more.
Then, we would better team with a very deffensive minded Center, without offense?
I mean, more shots for Deron, SG, SF and PF (Okur could play PF, not necessary he has to go out) and a Center only who dunk the ball?

What do you think?

desesperating? Huh?

Anyways Ostertag was under appreciated. He just had a knack for making a blown play look worse.

The problem is that Koufos is better defender than Okur, but he is more alike Okur that Ostertag, Wallace, Foster type of center...
We should add one very deffensive center, and forget Okur or Boozer.

I know it's a little early for trade talk but:

A solid wing player that Williams can kick it out to, as well as a 7 footer who can block shots and provide an inside presence.

Jazz dont need bogut but need a tough defensive center. I hate to see it happen but I can see the Jazz panicking in the off season and getting someone like Marcus Camby (over the hill) for AK-47 or Boozer. Jazz need a younger defensive center and need Williams to grow up as a player. Deron was terrible yesterday and found myself wishing we had chris paul instead. Chris Paul never plays that bad in a big game. Until Deron decides that this is his team, and lazy asses like Boozer, Okur, and AK-47 play hard on defense, Jazz will never play to their talent level.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Despairing is the present participle form of desperate. Hopeless or dishearening might fit better. Or exasperating.
