What's happened to Koufos?

Post#1 » by Ming Kong! » Mon Apr 6, 2009 4:41 pm

I don't get it, we're playing small lineups with Boozer at PF, when we have a rookie dieing to get minutes who atleast puts of up a defensive effort, and fills in much better at center than Boozer can. He hasn't played since February 17th. We need the defense, so why doesn't Sloan give him PT?

How dare you question a hall-of-fame coach!?! (I have the exact same question, because he can't be any worse on D than Booz has been recently).

Koufos is in the D-League getting seasoning with Mo Nuts so he's a wildly vet for next year ;)

I liked Koufos' energy when when he was in the games, but he didn't understand the offense, he shot too often and the Jazz were usually worse when he was on the floor.

I do look forward to seeing him next year though.

I think koufos or Fes would be a good option at times, better than giving time to harpring. However, this is usually the time of year where the rotation tightens up to get guys ready for the playoffs, so I doubt we see koufos for the rest of the year.
