Who else will you be cheering for?

Post#1 » by seejaydeja » Thu Apr 9, 2009 2:22 pm

Considering that the playoff picture is pretty much locked down, if (or when) the Jazz lose in the playoffs, who would you like to see win it all?

The only team I could really cheer for from the West would be the Blazers, but I would love to see the Hawks go deep this year. But as long as anyone outside of LA/DENVER/NOH/BOSTON/CLEVELAND gets to the finals, I'll be ok.

As soon as the Jazz go out it's draft time for me! And the draft is one of my favorite times of year.

This is also going to be a pretty busy off season for the Jazz so I think we will all be able to stay pretty entertained.

Every team not named Lakers will be fine for me.
I don't care if it's Boston, Orlando or Cleveland, because it's pretty safe Lakers will win West.

****, I forgot about Orlando, add them onto my list. I'd love to see Dwight get a ring.

I've been saying LeBron is going to get his ring since last off season and I'd like to see it happen this year.

I like the Cavs.

I'd hate to see LeBrons swollen ego get any bigger, for that reason I can't cheer for the Cavs.

I'm glad LeBron is as good as he is, and he is pretty clearly the best player in the game. I am glad someone who averages over 7 assister per game is the best player in the league. The cavs only win because LeBron gets his teammates involved.

Lakers, mostly because Kobe is one of my favorite players to watch, the shots that he makes are unreal. Blazers are also good, because Portland is a great city and they have a good nucleus. I just don't want any teams from the east to win it all.

Portland: No huge names, team ball, defense, great coaching.

Amen! I'd love to see Portland do well. IMO they're quite a bit like the Jazz in lots of ways. If the Jazz weren't in Utah I'd probably be a diehard Blazers fan.
