If and when Memo comes back this series...

should he come off the bench? I never thought that I would say it, but I really like Jarron Collins right now. He is playing really good position defense and he allows Boozer to be more offensive minded. Memo might be the ultimate X factor in this series. I believe that we would have won tonight with Memo in uniform. Three of the next four games are at home for Utah. Let's get it done! My depth chart against the Lakers when Memo comes back:
PG: Deron Williams, Ronnie Price, Brevin Knight
SG: Kyle Korver, C.J. Miles
SF: Ronnie Brewer, Andrei Kirilenko, Matt Harpring
PF: Carlos Boozer, Paul Millsap
C: Jarron Collins, Mehmet Okur

The first ten players listed should get all of the playing time, with Harpring and Knight getting playing time if anyone is in foul trouble.

How 'bout Booz come off the bench and back up Collins?

Dwill
Brewer
Korver
Okur
Collins

Wouldn't be bad but we'd still have a line up with Millsap at the 4 and Boozer at the 5 and we don't stand a chance inside with that combo.

I don't know if Memo will be back in time to make a huge difference.

If we can win the next two games at home and he can make it back for game 5 and he plays just as good or better then Collins we have a legit shot at winning this series.

I agree with you 100% JazzFan, but hamstring injuries are so tricky that I just don't know. Memo could be feeling great and get into the game only for it to flare up after jumping just once.

Ya that is a major concern, hamstrings are tricky things but all we can do is hope for the best. I think we can win our home games without Okur but we will need him to win on the road unless LA has some weird horrible shooting game and we play a solid 48 minutes.

Sloan isnt innovative so i doubt any changes in lineup. I would start a big lineup benching Brewer even though he has played decent but Kobe backing off him making it hard for us to get easy baskets.

PG Wlliams guards Fisher
SG AK-47 guards Kobe
SF Millsap guards Ariza
PF Boozer guards Bynum
C Memo guards Gasol

At times during the game I would play AK-47 at PF or center to keep him near the basket as he is our only shot blocker. AK-47 would give Gasol fits and even guard Bynum hopefully running the court on both of them in the fast break. Sloan has never used AK-47 as he should be used. Don Nelson would get the most out AK-47. Sloan has to be gone after this year!!!

AK could pester Pau for maybe a couple plays but would more then likely just foul him and give up some 3 point plays. Bynum would destroy AK.

Memo didn't sound very confident in his injury on the radio yesterday. I don't think we will see him til game 4 if that.
