Memo Interview

Post#1 » by Batu7 » Thu May 28, 2009 8:44 pm

Memo had an interview with a Turkish channel. He basically said Utah is like a second home to him, and he will give priority to the Jazz in contract talks. He added that he wants to retire at 35.(So he may be seeking for a 5 year deal) When asked if it was true that he played different when Boozer was out, he replied "I agree. Carlos can play on both inside and outside. He has a nice long range jumper. When he wasn't playing, when I was playing with Millsap, I was more like myself. I penetrated more, I went to the foul line more, I had the ball more. I felt really good at that time." The rest of the interview is mostly about the Conference Finals, soccer and career after retirement.
"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is the moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious."
