http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia-live/nb ... 060502.asxKosta Koufos is not playing in the Summer League at all due to a dislocated finger. Dammit. That was maybe the main guy that I wanted to see play.
Oh well. Excited to watch Maynor and Sutton.

Really wanted to see Koufos. The trib is reporting he put on 15-20 pounds this off season which is awesome. We saw what that did for Ronnie Brewer, hopefully Koufos can have the same kind of help from putting on that weight and muscle.
Excited to see Maynor, wouldn't be surprised if his TO's are through the roof tonight because he is trying to do too much.
I expect Sutton to be solid, 8/8 type of numbers with a block and a steal.

Watching this now.. My god this has to be THE WORST commentators I have EVER heard. I'll listen to Ron Boone call games 24x7 then listen to these guys for five more minutes.

Commentators are horrible...holy crap I'm annoyed already and its been 30 seconds.
I wanted to see Kosta but I guess if he is hurt he is hurt. Big bummer there.

I have a sense of humor.. It only works when something is humorous...

Is it possible to put on 15-20 lbs. of muscle in two months without anabolic steroid use?
I have my doubts; and I think the NBA has a major off-season steroid problem. And before you all jump in and say: "But they have a anti-doping program!"... they don't test in the off-season.
Sorry to hijack the thread. We can get back to the summer league discussion...
Also, it's Suton. One 't'.

With steroids definitely not out of the question in the NBA, I highly doubt that someone in Koufus' situation would be dumb enough to take such a route. Plus they never stated that it was all muscle.

Like how Maynor can get into the lane. I like his floaters, but I want to see him be able to draw contact and go to the line.

I miss the RMR.

Ya the RMR needs to come back next year.
Maynor looks good, looks like he needs to improve his speed/agility but floaters look good.

I take back what I said about the commentators. They are absolutely the only thing good about this game now.

No they are still worse then the Jazz play right now. I muted them and starting listening to locked on sports instead.
Well I haven't seen much out of Suton but Maynor looks like he can control a team and get them into the offense and run something. Starting to jack up shots now but I can't blame him when your team is losing this bad

Maynor looks very good. He needs to improve his athleticism/speed but he has had some very good passes. He sees the floor very well and is a very smart player.
Just set up an alley-oop for the dunk and the foul on a semi-fast break, I'm in love already.

# david b. thorpe Maynor is going to be a terrific backup to DWill.
# david b. thorpe Eric Maynor is very slight, but heady.
From his Twitter.

I didn't watch as much of the game as I wanted too. Only the first quarter actually, but I love what Maynor does. He's very comfortable with the ball in his hands, and I think he understands the offense. He came down and as soon as he got past half court he usually dished the ball which is what he needs to do.

Jazz got whomped. Can't wait to see Maynor on the real team with some good players around him. I think he'll excel with some of the younger guys like Brewer and CJ.

I only saw about 2-3 minutes but Maynor kept getting taken off the dribble by his man. Kid needs to improve his D.

Anybody going to be watching Game 2? Supposedly Game 1 was too horrible to continue.

Maynor vs. Jrue Holiday. Interesting matchup.
Sutton jacked up a 3 first time he touched it. Bad shot. But Maynor hit a tech.
