im kind of fed up with it. i mean we are reading all these reports and rumors about other teams and their players. and even other teams talking to OUR players. but no reports about OUR team DOING anything. it gives the impression that jazz are fine sitting on their hands and letting the teams and players come and go as they please.
sure some media leaks, or too much info can be a bad thing. (im sure boozers agent had a lot to say to him last winter.) but no leaks/rumors at all? why am i still cheering/paying for this team if they are (seemingly) not taking an active approach on winning?

Bro this isn't reality television. It's a business. I can appreciate your desire to know what's going on, but at the same time I can understand why the Jazz brass keep everything tight lipped.

With a sophisticated organization, media leaks usually happen for a reason.
What would you like the Jazz to do/say and how do you think it would improve their bargaining position?

Reality television isn't even reality television.

It is extremely frustrating as a fan! From the organization's point of view, they are pretty amazing that they haven't had more things or anything for that matter leak out. It is difficult to keep everybody's lips sealed. It really helps them to keep everything quiet.

Sure it sucks from our male-soap opera watching point of views, but it isn't good for the team to be blabbermouths.

yeah, every year is supposed to be different. but all the "sources" are coming from other teams markets about what their team is doing. what is utah doing? why should the jazz fan be excited? it looks like the millsap situation is the only thing that's happening.
other news about players, it never mentions the jazz as a team that is interested or involved. and what the desnews said last night about KOC not even knowing about the portland situation is extremely disconcerting to me. it looks, to me, like the jazz are sitting on their hands.

The Jazz orginazation is notorious for their secrecy. They are like the Chinese government in that they do everything and anything to controll the spin in their favor. Everyone sees through it but they do it anyway. It seems to work for them, though.
All in all, I think they Jazz organiation has a very low opinion of their customers (the fans) and they just assume we are all sheep and will follow along with whatever crap they are spouting about building towards a championship.
From the stupid Chicago Bulls music they use for the player intros, to the stolen Colorado Rockies logo and Dallas Mavericks jerseys, the jazz puts little to no effort in bringing the fans a unique experience. They ALWAYS take the path of least resistance on anything fan related, doing only the minimum to avoid ticking off their fan base. The same goes for media relations. The less they say, the less people have to be uset with. It seems to be working for them, so I guess I shouldn't criticize, but I would like to see the Jazz do something unique for once instead of just tagging along whatever trend was hot two or three years ago.
