Haha this better not be true. What a waste that would be.

The cash and draft picks should be going to Utah. Memphis is just getting Wright for free. He is worth his contract.

If this deal goes through you can expect the Jazz to go hard after Big Baby who will end up being matched.

Why? They would have Millsap and Haslem.

+1
Haslem and a 1st wouldn't be the greatest trade for the Jazz, but it would be better than most that have been mentioned so far involving Boozer.

Not much for Boozer since Haslem gone after this season anyway. I guess it is better than getting nothing which Jazz would have gotten if Boozer opted out.

Millsap better than Haslem offensively. Haslem becomes good backup at big positions. Jazz probably improve their record slightly because team will better defensively.

Once again Jazz management takes safe way out instead of being innovative.

Why not Boozer and NYK pick for sign and trade for Odom? Jazz let Millsap walk. Lakers get a good center/pf backup for one season and potentially a high lottery pick. Jazz get Odom to whom no one from that draft will be as good as Odom. Boozer is worth nothing (see Halsem offer as Jazz best offer).

Why cant Jazz have this run and gun lineup?

PG Williams Price Maynor
SG Brewer Korver Miles
C Memo Kosta Fess
F Ak-47 Korver Miles
F Odom Kosta Harpring

Great scoring team if they run and gun with ballhandlers on the break of Williams, Odom and AK-47 and even Miles when he is in the game. Better defensively as anything that takes Boozer out of the lineup improves defensively.

If Jazz match Millsap and get Haslem then same team good but not good enough. Nellie has the team I proposed possibly win it all because they would play different with the players to play the system. Lakers would fear my team than the Millsap/Haslem team.

Are you **** kidding me? Boozer and NYK pick gets us Odom? Why don't you give the Lakers Deron for Farmar while you're at it?

that is what it would take to get Odom while keeping Jazz under the cap by letting Millsap walk

Wow, you really like Odom. Why?

I see a perennially underachieving guy who could only sniff his potential when on a team with two of the strongest wills in basketball (Kobe and Phil) imposed on him.

Back to the original topic... I think the only way this ends up netting the Jazz Beasley is if the Bulls seriously enter the Boozer bidding AND it looks like Odom will head to Miami. Odom + Boozer may give Miami more hope of contending next year than Odom + Beasley or Boozer + Beasley.

At minimum Jazz should next a first + Haslem.

Lakers cannot win the chamoionship without him even with Artest as a replacement. He is very veristile.

"Just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this." But no Toledo you don't redeem yourself. That might possibly be the dumbest idea you have yet. And that is saying a lot. Make the kings of the west not only better this year (considering they will probably lose Odom) but give them a potentially good draft pick that they can build on in the future, for the Jazz to get an above average Power Forward. I'm truly amazed at the stupidity that is contained in your posts. :o

Sure he's versatile, but he's a 3rd option at best, and I think he needs not one, but TWO strong leaders to get anything out of him.

We are never going to run and gun. And the 1st round pick is not worth Odom. The guy is so inconsistent it is sick.

I am convinced that Holy Toledo is only ever trying to **** with everyone on this board.

Either that or he is Isaiah Thomas. I can't decide.

Back on track now...

What about the rumored deal? Is Haslem + a pick enough? Can Jazz get Beasley? Is this better than a similar deal from Chicago?

Who would you rather have, Tyrus Thomas or Haslem?
