Why not Okafor?

Unless Charlotte completely hates the idea of Boozer, why not push to get Okafor or even Gerald Wallace? Charlotte isn't going anywhere with the team that is currently assembled, they should know that by now. While Booz doesn't offer nearly the defensive power Okafor does, he does give you similar rebounding and a much better offensive game that could compliment Wallace, and they also have a good point guard in Felton to run the P'n'R.

It's a hell of a lot better than Haslem which is a **** expiring anyways. And I like Gerald Wallace over TT as well.

I would've been ok with Okafor + Millsap or even Okafor + Okur (PF)... but now that they've matched Millsap, I can't see how he fits. He's got a longterm deal for a lot of $$$. Jazz would be in luxury tax for next two years at least.

I wouldnt see why Boozer for Gerald Wallace wouldnt interest them. The problem is theyre trying to unload Diop or Mohammed.

I would love to see G-Wall here in Utah. If I remember correctly the Jazz were interested in him a few years back but never got into serious talks to acquire him. Boozer for Gerald Wallace is one of my dream trades.

The only reasons the Bobcats would do this is because they want to upgrade their post presence on the offensive end, which they have stated they have wanted to do for some time now. Problem is that the Bobcats love Wallace to death (fans, coaches, players, management all love him) and I doubt they will ever deal him unless it comes to rebuilding or adding a mega star to their team. If you wanted to be realistic you would have to include the NY pick or form a package that involved Miles, or Brewer and probably more of our young talent.

As far as Okafor...I would still love to see him here in Utah and I think he would be a great fit for our system and give us the defensive big we have been starving for but I don't know what I am willing to give up to get him here. I don't know how you would get Okafor or Wallace here as far as money goes, it would more then likely land the Jazz in the luxury tax for several years which I highly doubt the Jazz are willing to do.

Dream trade would include either Okafor and Bell, or Wallace and Diaw. Make a package that includes Boozer the NY pick and Miles but its just not going to happen. Plus I'm in love with our NY pick so I would hate to give that up.
