I think you should post the damn trade rather than just some link that I have no clue where it goes. Was it really that hard to copy and paste????

JR Smith to Utah? Would the Jazz really bring in a guy that has had questionable character? I actually do like the trade but don't know how Tyrus and JR would work with Sloan.

So, basically it's JR Smith and Tyrus for Boozer and CJ (who ends up in Denver), from the Jazz perspective. I'm torn, it's fair value for Boozer from a production perspective, and it would be nice to not have to deal with JR lighting us up a few times a year. If we could involve a 4th team ( Houston) who gets JR and we pick up Hayes or Carl Landry, I would like that a little better.

Why would you want another PF, after just getting Tyrus also?
I would prefer the Jazz trade Boozer for top talent at a different position, and since it seems they cant to that, this seems pretty fair to me.

Good trade for Jazz....Ok for Bulls.....Denver gets crap other than saving some money for not having to pay JR Smith's contract for 2 years. Hard to believe Nuggets want to help Jazz as well.
Does not work under cap! A team with salary cap space may be necessary where they take Miles and throw future #1 to Nuggets.

I like it quite a bit- gives us another serious deep threat and shores up the 4. I really don't see the light going on for CJ in such a way to justify his salary and minutes.

Source: Forman, Chapman, O’Connor tittered about trading Smith/Thomas to Utah. Boozer to Chicago. Miles/James to Denver.
It sounds like Chicago and Utah are really trying to find a 3rd party to make this work.

They must need another team--the trade as listed doesn't work in the trade checker for Denver.

Just paste the whole thing in.
I would do it. I like Smith. I bet he would be fine here under Sloan. I think that too many people blow that out of proportion.

This is just me thinking but why would Denver basically trade JR Smith for CJ Miles and trash? If the tables were turned i think Jazz fans would freak trading JR Smith to a division rival for CJ. Thats just me playing devil's advocate i guess.

Nuggets coach Karl doesn't get along with Smith at all and why not get someone who could possibly be as good as him in the future while getting some cap relief.

I don't understand how JR Smith would work under Sloan if he hasn't been able to work under Byron Scott and George Karl, who are not as strict. I think there would have to be a 4th team that would take him.

Smith would give Sloan a heart attack the first time he shoots a 30 footer at the beginning of the shot clock, which would probably be in the first game he played for us. Of course, he would make the shot, but Sloan would be on the floor before it went in.

If KOC make it happen a little bunch of Jazz fans will have to kiss his a$$....
Nuggets just won't do it anyway. Why would they?

Is this a SLoan problem or a Smith problem? Sloan needs to go a long time ago, but who knows maybe it works.
