I said 57 last year. Not as confident this season. Seems like we're going to field a weaker team where other teams got stronger.

I'll say 52 wins.

I don't have a great feeling about the team this year. That could all change depending upon the resolution of the Boozer situation, but right now I am assuming he starts the season wearing a Jazz uniform.

Record: 44-38
Division Finish: 3rd (Portland, Denver, Utah, OKC, Minnesota)
Playoffs: No (Lakers, Spurs, Blazers, Mavericks, Hornets, Suns, Nuggets, Rockets) I don't know why, but I think the Yao-less Rockets are going to have a Ewing-theory year and surprise people.

Jazz MVP: Deron (if its anybody else, then the Jazz are definitely a lotto team)
Jazz LVP: Boozer (has massive locker room cancer potential and is a big reason why I'm pessimistic for the seaon.)
Jazz MIP: Koufos if he plays more than 12 minutes a game. Otherwise I go with Korver who could have a great year after getting his shooting wrist fixed.

Knicks Record: 30-52
Jazz Pick via Knicks: 7

IJSPDs: assuming Matty is done and Collins is not re-signed, Jerry has really limited options this year. The only one I can think of is any time Ronnie Price and Deron Williams are on the court together. This makes me a little more optimistic.

NBA Champs: San Antonio

Finally: I think the reason I am so pessimistic about this year's team is due to the fact that I can't figure out where the Jazz are going to score from. If Boozer is taking all the shots to try and earn a contact, then thats just going to piss off the rest of the team. If Boozer is traded, then we better get someone back who can score because Paul Millsap is NOT a go to scorer. Also, Matt is basically finished, which takes away the little bit of toughness we had. I feel like all its going to take is one injury to send this team into a funk it won't recover from.

81-1 ( had to be realistic, Damn MSG)

Everything else you can fill in and oh Deron will win MVP, CJ - MIP, AK - DPOY, Sloan - COY(finally), Millsap - 6th Man, Price - Sportmanship Award(whatever its called I think fisher wins it alot)

Both OKur and Korver will tie 17 times in a row at ASG 3 POint Shootout thus the judges deciding to call the firt ever TIE(to the best of my knowledge) Maynor misses ROY by one vote to Suton. Utah sweeps the playoffs going 16-0 and winning the title. Coach sloan retires on the spot and the jazz announce Hornacek as his successor. Utah then moves the team to IOWA in hopes of making Kyle Korver feel better.

I have no idea why anybody would think Cleveland is going to win the east. Orlando worked them last year without Nelson, and then they just added Vince Carter, Matt Barnes, and Brandon Bass, while Cleveland added a bunch of crap. The east will go neck and neck between Boston and Orlando, the Cavs aren't even in their league.
