One of the jazzfan crazy idea. Like trading Boozer for Steve Francis or Vince Carter couple of years ago.

Sloan actually has a high level of respect for Iverson. He has been quoted before as sayaing that he believes AI is a tough player.

For the veterans minimum I think it would work fine. Iverson probably wouldnt even mind Jazz practices because Sloan would probably give him the Stockton treatment meaning he wouldnt have to go through the grueling parts of practices.

I would be excited. It would mean other teams guards actually have to work on the defensive end.

I think it would be uneventful. Wouldn't really help this team, but no drama would ensue to any real degree.

I think his hustle and determination to to drive to the hoop endures him to Sloan. I think he helps the Jazz and I would be in favor of this signing BUT Jazz are broke paying luxury tax for a border line playoff team. Ownership would not allow it unless they think he helps sell tickets.

Trade Boozer and Miles for a cheaper younger player at PF or Center then sign Iverson.

LOL, apparently we all forgot what happens to every team that brings in AI.

My first thoughts are bam! our chemistry is gone and only getting worse and who is going to play point guard? and will AI accept only playing limited minutes.... no. There goings the offensive set.

Those are the first things that came to my mind.

If because any kind of unnatural twist in Sloan's and KOC's minds they come to believe they have a question that need "The Answer"... then I could envision AI playing a la Derek Fisher. I know AI hasn't been a keeper lately, but dude has guts, has some tricks left in his hat, and could be a very good second ballhandler with a good scoring touch (a thing Deron desperately needs if you ask me).

Of course, I don't believe in Jerry, Kevin, Phil, Randy, Greg and Gail having sudden, concurrent and unnatural twists of their minds... and even if they do have it, the idea is as much unlikely as Iverson singing in the Tabernacle Choir...

I agree with Teledo, AI is the type of player Sloan would find a role for.
