Jordan did come off as a pompous ass in that speech. Singling out Russell was a very poor move by Jordan. We all know you're the greatest, thank people, don't be an arrogant ass. Leave that to Kobe.

Maybe know that Jordan is 46 and Russell 38 he could be in front on him and defend!

I'd like to see it, it would still be a good game to watch. Play to 21, loser's ball. Russell would be in trouble IMO, because Jordan has a better J and that post game, but it'd still be fun.

Jordan's entire speech was complete arrogance. However, the worst part was that he flew out his high school teammate who was picked ahead of him his sophmore year, and in front of millions of people told him how much better he was than him. Completely classless. Come on Michael, it was thirty years ago. Get over it already. I would love to see bryon play michael today. What I would like see more is michael try and come back again and get embarassed by todays stars. The jerk needs to get off his high horse already.

The part that got me was when he even called out his own kids! Said he feels sorry for them and would not want to be in their shoes.

Remember Jordan and Russ were on the same Wizards team, so this wasn't an out of the blue thing from strangers.

lol, russell is awesome. I don't understand the hate for MJ, other than the shot, he is a jerk, no big deal. MJ would DESTROY russell though, but still it would be amusing.

Someone on the main board mentioned that Bryon has been making noise about a 1-on-1 game since before the HoF speech.

As much as I love MJ, its no secret that he was this way. His game was just so great that people let him slide, oh and he never was in court for a rape accusation. Before the colorado incident alot of people had more love for kobe, aside from a few fans of other teams who at the least respected him. So if anything MJ holds the cake on being arrogant and you can be damn sure Kobe's HOF speech will be nothing like MJ's. ( And this speech will take place )
