Here is what I would like to see:
PG: Deron Williams, Ronnie Price, Eric Maynor
SG: Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver, Ronnie Price
SF: Andrei Kirilenko, C.J. Miles
PF: Paul Millsap, Mehmet Okur, Goran Suton
C: Carlos Boozer, Kosta Koufos, Kyrylo Fesenko

I'd like to see AK start, but I believe our bench is gonna need a playmaker and since Maynor will likely not be ready (hope he surprises me though), AK might be the best we've got for that role. IMO, we'll basically see what we saw last season with Kosta and Price getting Knight's and Collins' minutes.
Deron/Price/Maynor
Brewer/Korver
Miles/AK/Harp
Boozer/Sap
Memo/Kosta/Fes

I'm all for Sap and Boozer playing together at times, but that lineup doesn't feature anyone taller than 6'9'' or a single guy aside from Deron who can consistently hit outside shots. I think we should start with Deron, Korver, Brewer, Boozer and Memo, since Korver needs teammates to create open looks for him (which Deron and Boozer are both great at doing), while C.J. can create his own shot and could provide some great scoring punch off the bench. AK's obviously the best player of the three, but I too like his playmaking ability off the bench. The only problem with Korver starting would be his lack of athleticism.

Kirilenko, Miles and Korver are already hurt. Come opening exhibition night, it could look like Williams, Brewer, Millsap, Boozer and Okur, with lots of Price and Koufos thrown in.

Had forgotten Collins was injured and barely played last year. But as longer as Boozer is here, I don't see Kosta playing much, since Boozer, Sap and Memo will likely get 30+ minutes.

The starting lineup should be the way it was last year. If CJ doesn't improve then shake up that spot.

This is the depth chart I like to start the season... let's see what happens with training camp and preseason...

Personally I am not worried to see these 3 players get injured this early on. It doesn't sound like any of those injuries were nagging injuries from the past. It wasn't AK's back, Korver's wrist or CJ's feelings. So I think it's best to have this happen now, to the players it did, then have it happen to Williams, Memo or Boozer. Especially Boozer. He would miss two months with a quad strain!

I like the following as a Jazz depth chart until they trade Carlos Boozer.
PG: Deron Williams, Price/Maynor
SG: Kyle Korver, CJ Miles
SF: Ronnie Brewer, AK47
PF: Carlos Boozer, AK47, Paul Millsap
C: Mehmet Okur, Carlos Boozer, Kosta Koufous, Fesenko
After Boozer's eventual trade, of course things would have to be re-evaluated as to who the Jazz get in return, but I like this as a no-Boozer lineup:
PG: Deron Williams, Price/Maynor
SG: Kyle Korver, Brewer, CJ
SF: CJ Miles, Ronnie Brewer, AK47
PF: AK47, Millsap, Okur
C: Mehmet Okur, Koufos, Fesenko
I really think the Jazz are playing two guys badly out-of-position: Brewer and AK47. Brewer needs to be a SF and AK needs to be a PF to maximize their abilities. Korver needs to be the starter in order to get the offensive spacing right with the first group.
That leaves us with Price, Millsap, Brewer and Koufous as our primary backups. Assuming Boozer nets us at least one quality player in return, they would be added to that list. I also think we overpaid Millsap and that he is going to regress this year, lacking the motivation of a contract year.

Wow, you really hate Millsap.

Personally, I like the guy. I do HATE his game, however. He the kind of guy thats just good enough to lose you every important game if you rely on him. Maybe he will make that leap, but how many other "good" 6'6" PFs have there been? Barkley, Dantley....Thats pretty much the whole list and 'Sap isn't anywhere near as skilled or talented as those guys.

Dantley was a small forward. I like the idea of Milsap playing small forward against certain players.
Williams/Korver/Brewer/Boozer/Okur
Price/Miles/Kirlinko or Milsap flip-flop/Koufous
Bench-Manor/Fesenko/2 new guys, one being dupree

Here is the one that I think gives the Jazz their best chance at winning a lot of games:
PG: Deron Williams, Ronnie Price, Eric Maynor
SG: C.J. Miles, Kyle Korver
SF: Paul Millsap, Ronnie Brewer
PF: Carlos Boozer, Andrei Kirilenko, Goran Suton
C: Mehmet Okur, Kosta Koufos, Kyrylo Fesenko
If the Jazz eventually decide to start Paul Millsap at small forward, I believe the best player to start at shooting guard becomes C.J. Miles. With Millsap at small forward, the Jazz would only have two shooters in their starting line up (Williams and Okur). Putting Miles in the starting lineup gives them another player with great athleticism and outside shooting ability. Also, this move would help with C.J.'s overall confidence as a player because he would get a lot of wide open shots while playing among the other four starters. This move would also help the Jazz's bench a TON. It moves Ronnie Brewer to his natural position of small forward, in which he will thrive at coming off the bench with the other primary reserves.

While offensively I would like the line up of millsap at sf with boozer and okur, on defense we would get killed. Millsap is too slow to play sf, boozer and okur are average, at best, defenders. The more I think about it however, it really doesn't matter, I think no matter what line up we throw out there the opposing team is going to be scoring at will.

If I was coach I would have this Rotation
Deron 36/Price 12
Brewer 30/ Miles 18
AK 30/Korver 18
Boozer 24/ Millsap 24
Memo 32/Boozer 8 /Koufos 8
I just think that you have to put your best 5 players on the court for the majority of the game. And right now I would rank out players Deron, Boozer, Memo, AK and Brewer.
Depth chart wise would see things like this:
Deron/Price/Maynor
Brewer/Miles/Korver/Price
AK/Korver/Brewer/Miles/Millsap
Boozer/Millsap/AK/Koufos
Memo/Boozer/Koufos/Millsap/Fess
And you can throw whoever we end up signing to replace Harpring to the end of the bench.
