Pros:
1. Great Post up player which are hard to find;
2. Good rebiunder;
3. Fits in well with system; and
4. Simply makes Jazz more talented team then trading him for expiring contract and draft pick.

Cons:
1. Terrible defender;
2. Distraction that doesnt want to be here;
3. Certain to leave after one year;
4. Puts Millsap on bench and takes minutes away from AK-47 from PF; and
5. Injury prone.

I simply dont see why he is still on the Jazz!!!! It is one thing if Jazz thought they could win title with him for this season or he draws fans but neither is true. His contract is also expensive. He has no trade value when rumors are like Adonis Haslem and picks for him. It is like KOC is trying to save face by hoping a great deal comes along or Jazz luckily become a title contender which would justify this ridicolous contract they gave him a few years ago. Just think if you are Millsap and you wanted to re-sign with the Jazz, you played your hardest on a low 3 year guaranteed contract, and finally you get paid only to come off the bench to a guy that doesnt play defense and doesnt want to be there. How stupid is that!!!!

Jazz are a better offensive team with Boozer but over the long haul Jazz win more games by playing AK-47 and Millsap at PF to help our bad defenders. For years, I said Boozer and Memo could not co-exist and that has clearly been proven. Dont compound the Boozer signing mistake by keeping this slug for the rest of the season.

Because the organization isn't going to get rid of him for crap. A motivated Boozer is a strong plus for this year. If he has a stellar season, I would expect the Jazz to offer an extension to him. If he does not have a stellar season, they have the option to dump him as an expiring before the deadline or just ride it out. Simply put, the Jazz won't hamstring themselves taking on other players they may not want simply to get rid of him. If it makes sense for the team, they will do it and that has always been their stance. If he becomes a locker room cancer, he will be gone, rest assured.

Expiring contracts don't win championships.

Boozer's contract coming off the books doesn't actually help Utah's ability to acquire free agents (much) since they'll likely be over the cap without him.

Okur and Boozer can't co-exist? Along with Kirilenko, this is the same frontcourt that made it all the way to the Western Conference finals just a couple years ago, is it not? The frontcourt was viewed as the team's greatest strength. All three players figure to be better than ever this season. If we assume that Williams and Brewer have improved, the Jazz have to be pretty tough this year.

I don't know what's more annoying anymore, Carlos Boozer, or having to log in here every few days to see Toledo regurgitating the same thing over and over.

Boozer is going to do everything he can on the court to improve his trade value. He will not miss a game this season unless he is playing horrible. Another bright spot is that if anyone in this league can raise Boozers trade value it is Deron Williams. I'll bet D-Will makes Booz look sicker than ever! D-Will wants to win and he understands Boozers value as a trade chip. Expect him to look for Booz more than ever.

The best thing for all parties involved is to play Boozer and wait. All things that seems good for a team trading for Boozer in the final year of his contract, are good for the Jazz too. It's a one more year trial with a 20/10 dude and with no future implicances...
He will be ok; he'll be fighting for a new NBA contract, and I'm sure we all understand what kind of a motivation this can be for Boozer.
If coming trade deadline he's doing his job and the team's making noise, the Jazz will play him all season.
Boozer's future can take many paths yet...

The best thing for all parties involved is for Toledo to stop posting sensationalist posts with zero discussion-worthy calories. This board is like huge swigs of diet pepsi.

Pros: williams and boozer are the centerpieces of the organization. they are the two All Star quality players that you want to build around for their prime years.

Cons: none. many contend that Boozer is a terrible defensive player. I contend that the entire team needs a lot of work defensively.

Resign Boozer for three years and 45 million. Trade Millsap and let Korver go after this season. Hope that Kirilenko has an excellent year and trade him.
