I'm curious to see how Portland looks this year.
Andre Miller had a good game last night in a loss to the Suns.
More importantly, the return of JARRON COLLINS!!!!

In 26 games last year for the Jazz Jarron Collins recorded 1 blocked shot.
You go JC.

Even if I could watch this, I'm watching the Dodgers thrash the FILLIES instead.

I've got a pass for two free tickets to the game but I don't think I'm going to go. I might just hang and watch some baseball too, that sounds like fun.

You'll see.
Home field. Better starting pitching. Better bullpen. Lidge blowing 11 saves during the season. Manny had no help last year, but everyone else is hitting well now. Sorry, don't mean to turn this into a baseball thread, but it's hard to keep up with everyone when you can't watch pre-season.

I do think the Dodgers are the better team this year. But I like Phillies experience too. I was really surprised the Dodgers swept the Cards, I thought the Cards might win it all this year.

Plenty of time for Matthews and Dupree with AK not playing.

Love watching the Blazers come to town. Collins will play 20 minutes get 2 pts and 3 boards. 3 fouls

Price is starting at the 2 tonight, Brewer at the 3. Collins is averaging 2 points one rebound. I want him to move those decimal places tonight.

Why, for all thats good in the world, is Ronnie Price starting at SG? If Sloan is going back to his 2PG offense of the Palacio/McLeod era, then the Jazz deserve whatever horrible losses the league inflicts upon them. If Maynor is better than Ronnie at PG, then Ronnie needs to sit the bench. period. He certainly doesn't have the skills to warrant taking minutes away from any legitimate SG on the roster. Keep Brew and Korver at SG and let Matthews fill in till CJ is back, but you do not play a midget at the most athletically demanding position in the game. Roy will be shooting layups all night.

Sloan said in interview yesterday that he made a mistake last year of playing offensive players too many minutes sacrficing time for players known for their defense. Basically, you dont play defense you minutes will be limited. I predict he will be playing Price consistent minutes at start of season maybe even starting him along side Williams with Brewer at SF.
He also indicated that he likes the energy Millsap brings off the bench so Boozer likely starting but not necessarily playing down the stretch of the 4th quarter. We will likely see Millsap/Boozer or Millsap/Memo down the stretch of 4th quarter. Too bad Boozer and Memo play such terrible defense that their skills on offense may not be on the floor in the 4th quarter.

With AK in Russia, I like Price at the two guard. It'll open up more time for Maynor at PG and we still have some depth in the wings seeing as how Korver's knee still isn't 100%.
