Why the jazz do this:
For the first time in franchise history they would get a championship.
Why the Laker do this:
They're sick of winning and want to know what having a very mediocre team feels like.
Salary cap wise this deal works, if I did my math correctly. They do take on a little more salary, but considering the vast improvement in talent it might be worth it. http://hoopshype.com/salaries.htm

Lakers do trade if Jazz throw NYK pick and Sloan stays with Jazz.

Re: Jazz-Laker trade
Deron stays here and they can keep Bynum. Would be epic, but it would suck to have to boo Kobe in a Jazz jersey, but you have to have your priorities, and booing Kobe will ALWAYS be a priority...

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...
