Real Salt Lake vs Los Angeles Galaxy

MLS final guys, this could end up being Utah's first ever pro championship, which i think is a pretty big deal. theyre playing great right now and i really think they have a legit chance at winning.

anyone else care much about this?

i heard if we win it'll be the first professional sports team in history to win a ship w/out a losing record.

1971-utah stars say hello.
they folded halfway(dec'75) through the aba's final year before the merger(jun'76). if they could have stayed afloat for 6 more months, the n.o. jazz would be in minn, and we would still be cheering on the stars and probably have more 'ships in utah than just the one.

im calling it the stars curse on pro basketball.

No, I don't think it's dead, it's just posted in the a "basketball" forum. There is soo much ingnorant, fool sounding supposedly sport fans that don't know squat about soccer, which includes most of the main stream media here, one goes to soccer places when one wants to watch and talk soccer.

Just read into these posts here above and my point is clear as day.

If Beckman and our inside players can win 50/50's and our forwards can outrun the galaxy to the spaces, the Real is gonna shock a lot of soccer heads with a championship!

This has been a good game so far. Looks like it may go to penalties.

The penalties were pretty cool to watch, glad RSL came out as the victors.

Real outplayed LA especially when the Galaxy got tired in overtime. Great game!!

If I can not watch a sport for half an hour and not miss anything that sport sucks.
