Kobe with a broken finger...should be a great game. I expect the Jazz to win after watching them against the Magic and Spurs at home.

Still vs those teams we had our ups and downs... and you cannot always comeback... better not let them to escape.

I hope the Lakers are tired from playing last night. The Jazz should push up the floor a bit and take advantage of this.

Prediction: Jazz by 7, 110-103

Still the Jazz have shown some character and resilience during this stretch and you can't ignore the fact that we beat a very talented Orlando team while we were short handed on a back to back. Even the LA game we came out looking really good but our offense just locked up on us for some reason at the end.

Should be a good game. I imagine Kobe will play with his broken finger, but he shouldn't be quite as effective as normal. The best news for me, no Stu Lantz on color, instead I get Hot Rod. I watched the Lakers and Timberwolves last night, it was really weird hearing Hot Rod call a Lakers game though he didn't have near the enthusiasm he normally does.

Yeah, the reason was the Lakers were up in everyone's jerseys for the final quarter. Three shot clock vios and such.

No not really. Go back and watch the game if you happen to record it. The Jazz simply missed open shots and lay-ups and started to panic. The Lakers didn't actually play good defense until 3/4 or halfway through the fourth quarter. We didn't execute our offense, panicked and the Lakers realized we were so they pounced on us. I don't disagree that the Lakers played great defense but I do disagree that their defense is the main reason why the Jazz fell apart at the end of the game.

I believe I saw Korver, AK, and Fes on the bench, are they gonna get PT?

Wasn't it Toledo that was saying something about Matthews holding back on offense? I think tonight is a sure sign that the team knows what they are doing letting Matthews do what he does. What an incredible game so far, he is more athletic than I thought. The combo if him and CJ Miles is about as good as I have seen in a long time for the Jazz at those spots.

Very nice first half, except that our lead should be even larger, I think we missed three layups. Matthews is such a warrior, taking Kobe and Artest on and having a monster game.

The only thing that really concerns me is finding a way to stop their post play. Well, of course Kobe will come out trying to take over the game, so we need to handle that too.

Brewer's one non-cold spot shooting jumpers is that right side where he's hit a few tonight.
