Just because no nothing chuck barkley says Boozer is a distraction for utah players, you all seem to be jumping on the bandwagon to trade boozer. You bring up all the same personel for trades you did at the beginning of the season. The jazz didn't do it then and they won't now. Get over it! The jazz are playing their best bball of the year.! If you want ot trade Okur, Harprings expiring, Price, Kirlinko, Kufous, or korvers expiring, talk about it! Leave boozer alone and let him keep playing!! Charles barkley is a baffoon and would be a lousy general manager or coach!

How about Harpring, Price and Kufous + a #2 for Camby? That would really help us!

That bandwagon has been going since the offseason broseff. If you didn't think Boozer trades would be brought up all season you're a short sighted dude.

I don't think Koufos would be necessary.

Not shortsighted. The jazz are winning! wait till Boozer sucks, then rumor trade him! The jazz can wait for some other team to make a dumb move! Like getting camby for the rest of the year, soulness!!

I don't think it has anything to do with Barkley's comments. He probably had too much to drink, he always talks first and thinks later. Inconsistent? Where the hell did he get the notion that Boozer has been inconsistent this year? Without him we are about 3 or 4 games worse thus far.
I don't want to trade him, I hope we resign him, although it's a bit of a risk when you look backwards.

If you're talking about the 4 Boozer trade threads that were started today on this board, only one was started by a Jazz fan. And as great as Boozer has been this year, with the Knicks improving, we can't risk losing Boozer for nothing next year.

I want to trade bc the Jazz will get nothing for him at end of the year. He is gone for sure!!! He has NOT been the distraction I thought he would be and Barkley says he is. He has improved his effort on D.

The only players that I would be looking to trade right now if I were the Jazz GM are Ronnie Price and Kyle Korver. Neither player is really needed and both are basically trade bait. Ronnie Price has lost his back up spot to Eric Maynor and there is no way that Kyle Korver should be getting time over Wesley Matthews, Ronnie Brewer, or C.J. Miles. I would try to swing a trade with them and maybe one of our back up centers for either more cap space or a starting-quality center that could allow Memo to come off the bench.

So many people seem to think that because of Boozer's strong play so far this season, that we "can't" trade him anymore. His play so far goes hand in hand with trading him. He knows it, the Jazz know it, and every other team in the league knows it. Boozer will be traded by the deadline unless all the Jazz get a absolute crap offers.

I like Boozer, RIGHT NOW, but, when he sprains his big toe and misses half the season next year I sure as heck wont.
I'd love to move him while his value is as high as it's going to get. That being said, if all the offers are crappy, you don't make a move.

A reduction in our luxury tax is far from nothing. We are not LA/NY. We are a small market team and cannot afford to continue to pay the luxury tax. For this reason and this reason alone, the Jazz will keep Boozer through this season and then let him walk at the end of the season.
We will then not add a significant player until AK and Memo come off the books.
This is a business. And Gregg is not nearly the fan Larry was.

We wont trade Price unless we can get another PG back in return. Jerry will always keep 3 PG's on the team.

Until just now I thought that the typo in the subject was "Church" -- and that it was a play on the LDS Church's stance on alcohol. Now I realize you meant "Chuck."
I liked the Church one better.

the jazz got a crappy offer for arroyo. he was better (at the time) than the pick we got for him. but then again, jazz traded that pick along with their own for the right to choose dwill i believe.
my point being, if you
want to get rid of a guy, it's not that hard.

I read the title as church, and not chuck. Thought it was going to be some lame joke.

Sorry about the chuch(chuck) typo. I was angry that chuck thinks he undertands the jazz situation with Boozer. He would make a lousy general manager for an NBA team. Boozer is tradeable now. I hope we don't give away the #1 from the knicks, even if it isn't he #1 pick in the draft. Look what the last low pick gaves us-and o'conner traded up to get williams. We need to package Harpring, Kufous, maybe price for a Bigman to finish the season. I hope Harpring stays with announcing for the Jazz. Boone may be expendable soon!
