How about Harpring as new color man for TV for Jazz

Matt Harpring has been outstanding as a second color man for the Jazz in the last 4 games. He knows the team, the strategy, the players. He also has a smooth flair for calling it the way he has seen it as a player in the NBA. I think its time for the Booner to mover on! Harpring is the Man!!

I like him as a commentator as well, really like him in fact (other than him saying that giving up wide open three pointers is good defense), he is much better than the two jockers the Jazz usually have........

I though Harp did a good job. He has good insight to the game.

Yeah he looks natural doing this. Feel a little bad for him though him as I know he'd love to be on the court. Don't care what some think about him, I will definitely miss him, he was all hustle.

He will be on TNT, he's good enough and a Georgia Tech alum.

That's funny because the first time I heard him I turned the game on late and didn't know it was him. All I kept thinking was "who is this annoying guy who acts like he knows everything and won't shut up? He's acting like he owns the place." I couldn't stand him.

When I didn't know who it was I thought it was some no name former NBA'er like Pace Mannion who thought people actually cared what he thought. Then I found it was Harpring and my attitude changed a little.

So basically I don't know if he sucks or not.

Am I the only one that was annoyed the first night he called a game? You think "Buckle Up" gets under your skin, just think of having to listen to harpring say "you can live with that shot" every time the jazz give up an open 3

Yeah, a bit, but he will get better and learn when to talk and when to shut up. I like him and I really like the insight from basically a current Jazz player. It's nice to know how current players think.

I liked his insight. His first game, he kept saying "uh oh...oh no" when Bonner shot a three. Kind of got annoying but he hasn't done it since. Hope to see him do some more games. He even questioned the lineups once, I think that was during the Wolves game.
