Hitler Mustache?

Just read this on Hoops hype. "Ty Lawson: Only in Utah is where ull find somebody rockin the hitler mustache... "

Why does this twitter bs make it on hoops hype? This is the only one they used today, why pick this one?

Does anyone know the back story?

I can't recall the last time I saw a Hitler Mustache ANYWHERE. Seriously, I would make fun of Utah if we had them too, but we don't.

That's assuming he is making it up. Considering he is in Utah right now, and I'm guessing has seen various people since getting there...there is a good chance he did see someone with a Hitler mustache. It's not like that is something you just randomly think of and decide to lie about on your twitter page.

And being that's it's Utah, why would this surprise any of you? I saw some guy rocking that kind of mustache on my way through Cedar City just a couple months ago.

He's still drawing upon largely baseless stereotypes to make a pretty ignorant statement. He could see the same thing in any other state (it's not a Utah thing) and not give it a second thought. Ty Lawson is a dumbass.

I've been here in the SLC area for the past 11 years straight and have NEVER seen one of those. Of course if I did I'd probably crack up about it LMAO... :roll:

Either he saw a gay guy (not uncommon in slc) or some pseudo-indie rocker with a mustache and a bandana. It's this whole new folk-indie music scene thing, and it did NOT start anywhere near Utah; I wouldn't expect Ty Lawson to venture far enough from the club scene to see any other kind of styles in the first place.

I had been told by someone from the Price area that the hanging of the black man there was allegedly the last one to happen in the country. I don't know if it is true, but that is shameful if it is.

I'm glad to know that that movement in Utah was basically by anti-Mormon groups and that missionaries were targeted by the Klan as well. Informative stuff.

Well than next time maybe he should put a picture of the guy on his twitter. I don't think I have ever seen someone out here with a Hitler mustache. Personally I think Lawson is just a jackass and thinking he's something more than a rookie.

I didn't realize at first he actually saw some dude. Frankly I would have said "Only in Texas" if I saw a dude with one in Texas, so not I'm not really upset. I do wonder if it was a real Hitler stache or just a smallish stache. I've never seen anyone in any sate have one. I saw a picture of someone who shaved his beard into one, took a picture and then finished his shave.
