Do you want Prince?

I was thinking Prince/Maxiell for Kirilenko/Koufos made a lot of sense for both teams.
1) Trade saves you money
2) Trade gets you a veteran SF who has proven to be a winner
3) Trade gets you a long-term PF to backup Milsap after Boozer walks this offseason

I think the Jazz front office would do this trade but Pistons would not do it. It saves the Jazz money but Maxiel gives us another undersized PF which we have too much of already.
As a Jazz fan, I dont want to trade AK-47 at all. I think he is still young and can be a allstar year in and year out if in the right system.
I prefer to trade Boozer to Detroit for a deal involving Prince on the court with AK-47 and maybe even Brewer so we can have a good defensive team for once.

No. He seems to be on the decline. I rather wait out AKs contract or move him for cap space. I think a realstic trade would involve sending AK to Cleveland for Big Z and Jamario Moon. Saves us 2 mil and gets us out of AKs contract. Dont know if AK fits what Cleveland is looking for though.

I'd take Prince. That cat can ball!

My understanding is KOC has been trying to do an AK for Prince or Rip and filler deal but Detroit doesnt want AK. If the Jazz get offered this deal, they absolutely do this. Getting Prince or Rip for AK will give us at least 3 additional wins this season.

SLtrib reported that the Jazz didn't want either Prince or Rip because of their contracts. I think that was a deal built around Boozer and not AK though.

The problem with Nocioni is also the contract. He makes $7.5 mill this year, is guaranteed on a slowly declining deal for 3 more years with a player option for the 4th.

Prince's deal shouldn't be much of an issue - he expires after next season. Rip I can understand....
Some Pistons fans think we should also get the Knick's 1st rounder in this deal. Could that on the table as well? If needed, we could throw-in a couple future 2nd rounders....
Just for fun, what about a Rip/Prince/Maxiell for Boozer/Kirilenko/Koufos/Knicks 1st deal?
