Mild calf strain, although he came out today on crutches. He won't play tonight and will be re-evaluated on Monday.

Glad we're playing at home against a team under .400, shouldn't be TOO difficult. I have trust in a combo of Price/Gaines and Millsap/AK at the PG and PF positions for such a game. Okur will likely have a big game as well, as he steps up when Boozer doesn't play.

These are the exact reasons I'm scared. No DWill, no Boozer and *cringe* Ronnie Price running the point as the starter? This game is ripe for a loss.

To me, Tonights game is as important as the game at Portland. If this streak is all that its cracked up to be, the Jazz will defeat this mediocore team.

Tyreke torched Deron last game, maybe having Price & Gaines on him could help this time?

Price is a much more feisty defender than DWill is, he'll be able to keep up with evans but evans has a 4 inch advantage on price.

i wonder if we switch out brewer on him

This would have more to do with our interior defense. Let's hope Memo, AK and Sap keep up their blocking spree.

This team plays well without Deron, im not too worried about it, we're gonna need a big game from Okur imo.

And Boozer in crutches? that doesnt sound good to me at all. i bet he's gone for 2-3 weeks

Tyreke is scorching a lot of teams. Just worry about not letting the rest of the team go off on you. Can't have both Tyreke AND Kmart go off for 25+ or we'll lose.

That's the thing though, they don't have much interior scoring. So, it would be nice if we'd not double down on their bigs, opening up the perimeter. Of course we will though. We always do.

This feels like a game where people step up. I hope I'm not jinxing it but Memo and CJ play well in these games.

Boozer is having a monster year, so hopefully he'll be back. Seems likely that Okur will step up, he seems to play much better without boozer.

So glad we aren't playing back-to-back, nor on Sunday, he should be fine by Monday. :-) Dallas is a BIG game, we're only 2 games behind them at this moment.

Reading the sltrib.com comments make me cringe. Reading that is like watching a dog hump a bumper. It just doesn't work and everyone is left shaking their heads.
