Jazz are widely expected to bring back music note logo for next season. Story in today's paper. Link to follow shortly.
Deron Williams said he's already seen next season's jerseys, which are believed to feature the music note in updated colors.
The Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and yellow are rumored to give way to blue, green and gold.

Great. I heard a rumor about this quite some time ago. I didn't want to jinx it though. This is the best news I have heard all week.

About damn time, the new logos and jerseys always sat as the new stuff, but never felt quite like the Jazz, if you know what I mean. It's kind of like when the Pistons experimented with their logo, which obviously was a far bigger disaster, but you get my point. Don't mess with something that works. I have a Kirilenko jersey and while the current jerseys are far from BUTT UGLY, they are also anything but stylish. I think I'd be willing to rock a Jazz jersey again.

Hmm.. according to the article, the NBA typically requires two years notice for such a change. Could be a problem. Hopefully not.

I liked the black and copper uni's the best.

I like that they are going back to the old logo but not a fan of the colors that are rumored. Blue. Green. Gold? Why not just keep our current colors and just go with the logo on the shootaround player shirts? Also I hope it's updated jerseys and not just bringing back the old jerseys. Tweak it just a tad. But I'm very excited for this change to take place. Even though I just bought some jerseys.

I was a little concerned about the Blue, but f it's as dark as the note above it will look good.

I heard a rumor about this from a friend of mine that is a Fanzz manager, but didnt wanna believe him. I am so happy for this, because I think we have the blandest uniforms in the league. Of course not to mention we have the most copied scheme in the league as well...dark blue, light blue.

Im happy Green and Gold are in as well. I will definitely be first in line to get a d-will jersey.

D-Will can suck a fat one, mountains rule! I like the first uniforms but get over it, the mountains rule. It at least has a Utah theme to it. Even the shorts had a graphic. I'm not a fan of change, I don't care for our home uniforms as they are but the road ones are cool, especially the powder blues. Six seasons is pretty quick to switch uniforms. I personally wish we were like LA, Portland, Chicago, Miami, and Boston where we didn't really change uniforms other than something minor.

I'm with Deron on this one. Those mountain unis are terrible. I'll admit I liked the change to them at the time, but they did not age well. Looking at clips of them now... yikes... the road ones are just godawful. Whoever designed those should be flogged publicly.

As for teams staying consistent, I'll give you Boston and the LA Lakers, but Portland has gone through a few designs, and Chicago's unis aren't the same as they were when Jordan was a rookie. They used to have the script "Chicago" on the front instead of the block-letter "BULLS."

I don't know why so many people hate the mountain uniforms? I still remember seeing them for the first time as a ten year old in The Pro Image. Summer 1996 I was in that store and saw them for the first time. I was like OMG these things are awesome. Don't forget I've lived in PA my whole life so I wasn't aware they would be changed before then. I probably saw the new logo on the 96 draft night though.

I just hope they don't drop the ball with these uniforms because I didn't care for our current ones at first. The navy blues have grown on me and I've always liked the powder's. I own a pair of all three colored shorts and wear them all the time. I think you have to actually own a part of the uniform to appreciate it more.

My personal favorite is definitely the purple mountains followed by the black ones then probably the powder blue ones.
