Sloan not happy with Fes

"Jazz coach Jerry Sloan deactivated Kyrylo Fesenko for tonight's game due to issues of lateness, he said afterward".
"Fesenko was believed to have missed the early bus to the arena, though possibly as a result of miscommunication."
"Sloan's patience seems to have run out, judging from some of his post-game comments."
"Sloan: "He’s a young guy and it’s like he already has the answers to what’s going on out there.."
"and I haven’t always seen that in practice and some of his workouts."
"He’ll tell you he works hard, but I’ve seen guys work hard. I’m not totally blind.”
"We’ve got a lot invested in him, a lot of time, a lot of effort,” Sloan said. “Our coaches work with him."
"Take advantage of it rather than let it slip through your fingers when it’s there.”http://twitter.com/tribjazzhttp://www.sltrib.com/jazz/ci_14369395Ouch, you never want to hear that from your coach. Looks like he has some work to do.

I hope he plays Kosta in the emergency big minutes. I honestly couldnt understand how Sloan preaches PT comes from practice and played Fes over Kosta. Sure played great sometimes, but there is no way Fes is outworking Kosta in practice. I honestly dont see the Jazz re-signing him. The only way I see it is if we get a wing in the draft.

I love the comment "I'm not totally blind", that made me literally laugh out loud.......
You can't help but like Jerry on occassion....... Particularly when the microphone catches him swearing at the refs during games.......

That was awesome yesterday. I started using headphones since the volume on my laptop doesn't go very high and it was even better.

Too bad Fes isn't such a lazy sack because we could really use him against the Lakers.

What a thick-headed moron. You get blessed with the perfect frame for an NBA center, and you piss it away because you want to sleep in.
It's like this guy I play ball with. He is 6'10 but always wants to dribble the ball around and take jump-shots like a PG even though he is really terrible at handling the ball. I'm relatively short and fat, but I love clogging the lane, swatting the ball, grabbing rebounds, getting put-backs. I can't imagine how fun that would be if I were 9" taller. I get so pissed when he is on my team because he hardly ever blocks shots and gets out-rebounded by guys 5-9" shorter than him. It sucks, but we just play for fun. I get the same feeling when I read about a guy like Fes, but in the pros it is more than just frustrating. Fes is funny as hell, and seems like a cool guy, but COME ON MAN! WAKE UP! You are living the dream! Sleeping in or whatever his problem is is costing him A LOT.
