Boston-Jazz Deal best one yet

Jazz get Ray Allen, Perkins, Baby Davis, and Billy Walker
Celtics get Boozer, OKur, Brewer, and Korver
Jazz Lineup
PG Williams Price Gaines
SG Allen Miles Matthews Walker
C Perkins Davis Fess Kosta
PF Millsap Davis AK-47
SF AK-47 Miles Walker
Great improvement defensively!!!! The Jazz proved they can score and win without Boozer plus Ray Allen will hit open shot, key shot at end of game, and provide veteran leadership. The Jazz save money this year plus Allen off books after this year if he doesnt work out. Worth a try and matches up better versus Gasol and Bynum with Perkins/Millsap/Davis than Boozer/Memo/Millsap do.
Celtics Move Boozer to PF and Garnet to center with Peirce and Rondo nice starting team with other starter likely Brewer with Memo/Rasheed Wallace/Allen/House/Daniels off the bench. This frontline dominates the east.

OK, while this one isn't so lopsided it doesn't put either team over the top. Boston is a buyer not a seller. Utah is a buyer not a seller.

Wow...we are sitting in a position to have home court advantage in the playoffs and we trade 3 starters? And Boston trades those guys for 3 expiring contracts and Memo? Are they going to blow up their roster next year or something?
Please come quicker Thursday.....

Please for the love of god Toledo, STOP!!!! That is such a horrible deal it's not even funny. Celtics pull the trigger on that immediately and laugh their asses off all the way home wondering who slipped O'Connor the roofie..

One guy says Jazz getting ripped off while another guy says Celtics get ripped off so probably a far deal.
Why am I so concerned in the Jazz making a trade? Easy, this is when championships are won or loss. Do nothing guarantees the Jazz do not win it all. The Jazz need to pull of a deal like they did for Hornancek and the Lakers did for Gasol and like the Cavs are trying to do for Stoudamire and the Mavs did for Butler. Those teams want to win a championship. The Jazz dont make a deal then a championship is not their goal. I guess I want the Jazz to win a championship more then many of you guys and more than the Jazz management
It is about time you guys also admit that Boozer is gone!!! The Jazz are not going to pay luxury tax next year especially since other teams will offer Boozer 11-15 million a year. So lets get something for him or put pieces around him to try and win it this year.

If you want the Jazz to win a championship why do you keep posting such awful trades? Seriously, you make Isiah Thomas look like Sam Presti.

Lock because you cant admit a deal is necessary and the Jazz management are just happy in playing out the season. Lets face it your just a hater that doesnt want to think of solutions just want to criticize and be a king of your little small world. Lock your trap moron.

So how many starters did any of those teams improving trade away? Show me one championship team, ever, that traded three starters mid-season and won even a first round series.

Wow, those are pretty big words there. A deal might be needed but we don't need a thread stating that and a ton of others with crazy out there proposals that would never work.

Toledo, pick a side!!!!! At the beginning of the season, you want Boozer gone.... We win 9 games and all the sudden you are his best friend. We lose one game and all the sudden he is gone again?????? I am sure we can find a Toledo thread just from last week where you were all about keeping Boozer and thinking we should re-sign him. Just pick a side and stick with it......
Oh and how are you so sure we are gonna be in the luxury tax when next year we lose Korver (~$5MM) and pay Sap only ~$6MM compared to his current salary of ~$11MM. That is $10MM in savings alone.

The bonus Milsap received is prorated across all years of the contract even though already paid. We will have about $55M committed to 8 players for next year. It is likely unless we sign minimum players we will be at the luxury tax level, with no Boozer, and no Korver. It is next year's situation (and Memo's extension) which makes any trades very difficult for the front office to make. We have three large contracts (Williams, AK, and Memo) which eat up most of the reduced CAP figure based on projections.

AK will be easy to trade next year.

Instead of trading Kirlinko next year, we get him to give up his 16 mil and sign a 3 year 8.2 mil a year, freeing up some money. we then Trade Okur. That leaves the jazz with lots of money to add very good players! No Okur, Boozer, Korver, Fes. Trade out Ronnie Brewer contract this year, also.
That leaves Williams Price Miles Kirlinko Milsap Kufous
Re-sign Gaines and Mathews.
Draft a Big forward or center next year with #1
Ger another defensive big man for okur or a strong wing!

That's not allowed per the CBA........ There goes your proposal right there........
