Looks like Boston just signed him, wondering why Utah dumped him after two years?

Why did Boston give up on Gerald Green? There is your answer.

Almond is selfish and is a black hole. If someone wants him in a Von Wafer role...no D, jacks up shots like crazy then enjoy.

Almond is not an NBA level player.

Thanks for the input all . We just need to have enough people on the bench to not make Mr Stern angry I imagine just curious what happened to him.

Wow. Seriously?

Mo never got a chance here. Legit NBA scorer, I think he will be a young Mo Pete like player one day soon.

So I'm guessing you haven't seen MoPete play much this year?

Almond HAD and probably still has SOME incredible potential, but he is too in love with himself to truly contribute to a team.

You can tell that from 16 career NBA games? That he is in love with himself? Aren't all pro athletes?

Mo Pete is a career 10 pt 4 reb 3 ast guy who could defend.

Mo gets a lot of hate on this board, but really he never played a meaningful minute of ball for the Jazz.

So the ONLY answer is: who the hell knows?

Keep track of the D-League, fact is he's got talent as a scorer but his game is lacking in every other aspect.

Don't forget, Almond was also cut by the Knicks after he played for them in the summer league. Its hard to say it was just Utah as the reason he didn't get playing time.

More than just the Jazz have looked at him and didn't want him.

There are numerous players out there who say Almond is the worse teammate they have ever played with...

That doesn't surprise me. I would hate to play with him too.

I think he has had plenty of time to prove if he is an NBA player or not, and he simply isn't. Who the hell knows? There are 29 GMs that didn't want him and NY just took him to fill a roster spot. What more do you need to see to know that this guy is what he is?
