durant, green, and westbrook on usa select good experience?

Post#1 » by Canomad » Tue Jul 29, 2008 10:32 am

i personally think all 3 of these players are gonna improve from practicing against the usa team. i see this as way more benificial then summer league and it can create a certain chemistry between the 3 of them. i think it helps westbrook out most though because hes a young rookie learning alot of stuff going up against players such as lebron, paul, kobe, wade, howard and everyone else. does anyone else think this is somewhat benificial for these players?

I definitely think it is going to help them. It's great that they are getting the chance to play against some of the best players in the league and also build chemistry with each other. Like you said Westbrook will definitely benefit from playing. Kidd, Paul, and Williams are 3 of the best PGs in the league so he is going to learn just how good the competition is going to be. As long as no injuries occur this is a great thing for them to be doing.

The more time they play together the better. It will save a lot of time once they report in for camp, they won't have to spend the time getting to know one another.

As you can see I'm a Clippers fan. But anyways all 3 of these young players will improve because they will be able to see how the best players in the NBA prepare for the game. The best way to become the best is to do what the great players do, this is a great opportunity.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

maybe Paul can teach all 3 about being a leader, both on the court and off, around OKC. I know a lot, probably even a majority of the city, would like Paul and the Hornets back here. Personally, I'm glad that in a way we're starting over with a team that is ours.

i think with the scoring of durant and green the team can make some upsets, and i see the team surpassing what most people are expecting. That said we'll still see alot of losses and not many wins. I predict around 30 wins...probably on the lean side of that.
But even last year there were alot of games where we hung about with the contenders until the last quarter. With the development of the young guys we should be able to push a good game out of the top teams.

It's great so long as none of them get injured.
