Who the hell came up with Wind? I mean c'mon! Oklahoma City Wind???

Some multimillion-dollar consulting firm. Money well spent, I say. Originally, they conceived the moniker 'Thunder Wind', but ingeniously split it in to two names and doubled their bill.

I liked 'Thunder' but that was before I read that 'Marshalls' was under consideration. Then I read of the misspelling. Oops. So, I guess I vote 'Marshals'.

Seriously though, I like the Barons or Thunder best. I saw on NBA.com in the comments section for the rookie photo shoot, someone posted either a fan-made or leaked image of a jersey for the OKC Barons. It looked pretty cool.

I personally think the only name that sounds good is the Oklahoma City Barons. I saw the leaked promotional images for the jerseys and logo. It looked slick and I liked the Black, White & Gold color scheme they used. Personally I hope they go with Barons, any of the other names are just silly or suck.
