unfortunetly, I haven't read much seattle area media, so I assume that your saying that (at least in the media) they are attacking Schultz?

Hope so, but in my experience with the seattle FANS on realgm, and other boards Schultz is an afterthought.

Bennett is the devil, and Oklahoma is Hell.

While that may be true, you are somehow forgetting to mention the biggest villain in all of this: David Stern. I think that, no matter your allegiance on the issue, he is the clear cut #1 enemy of the fans.
