^^^^ I really don't want a coach around who's biggest compliment on this board has been that he wouldn't hurt a quality team (a "playoff team," as it was put). I mean, what do you want, a caretaker? Let's get someone who coaxes some positives out of the team, not just rolls the ball out for 'em! PJ's record in the NBA leaves much to be desired. Uninspiring, first round exits is about as good as it gets, and don't tell me that he did much as an assistant in San Antonio. Sometimes you get wind of an assistant being a key ingredient on a winning team, but that never came out of SA to my knowledge.

Anyway, this team is rebuilding, and therefore stinks, with the exception of a bit of talent. So with a team that stinks and is very young, you need a guy who inspires them and is a great teacher... part shrink, part master chemist who brings out the best in his role players. There was nothing in the way the Sonics were playing that indicated that PJ was either, and I truly believe that has to start with the coach on such a young team. In fact, he was downright uninspiring! So maybe Brooks will put some fire into this squad. I personally would like to see Dwayne Casey brought in, Nate's assistant who was at Minnesota for a bit.

Looks like your getting at least one of your requests.

Wait. What? They are moving the cornerstone of the Franchise to his natural position? What a BRILLIANT idea!

The Sonics need a center. Play Durant at center.

He would have problems containing the likes of Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, and probably Andrew Bogut. Keep KD at the SF position.

Put Durant in the slot for the Sooners. Sniff, sniff.... I smell sarcasm wafting from Big L's comments
