I loved that mix of James.

Yeah he really didn't quite live up to his contract from Isiah Thomas did he. Those two were perfect for each other. Isiah loved to give out back contracts and Jerome James loves to collect on them. I can say I think he may be the one GM worse than Wally.

But back to James he was over paid in Seattle too. He played well one season and stole the rest.



I love this picture though. It's the year after they won 52 games early in the season. James goes up against Robert Swift (pre-tattoos). Still heavy on the pimples. James dunks on him that game and Swift was embarrassed and pissed. And you know James let him hear about it. They use to play one on one against each other in practice. Apparently before all the injuries to Swift, he held his own against James. Not that it's really something to write home about but Swift did have some game. He actually had decent hops when he came into the league.
