Last time we played them close, but this time they have Shaq....

Joe Smith and Jeff Green won't be able to stop Shaq and Amare

I'm afraid you're right. Shaq will overpower Smith in the post and Amare is too quick and strong for Green to contend with straight up. The best they can do at this point is to fight it out the best they can. Also, the Thunder will be playin the Suns with J-Rich in the mix. Since Mason will be matchup against J-Rich here, how has the matchup been in the past?

Wilcox/Collison have always given Amare trouble...And Joe Smith is a smart player who should get 15-18pts off jumpers alone...

Durant for 50

Good luck guys, lots to like about your core

cheers

This was one of the worst displays of rebounding that I have seen. They got way too many second chances. I was very impressed with Swift though. I thought he played Shaq pretty well but the problem was he was the only one that did. Weaver also did pretty well. He made some nice plays and played pretty good defense. It's a disappointing loss because Nash played less than 10 minutes and Amare was in foul trouble all night. They played well up until the 4th but just could not buy a bucket there for awhile.

What happened to Nash? And why was Smith inactive?

Nash left with back problems and Smith was out with a leg injury I believe. He is an ugly guy. I'm not sure which was uglier: him or his first shot in the game.

So was the game as close as the score indicated? I wasn't able to watch the game, as I'm still out of town... Seems like all of our guys that need to put up numbers for us to win did... That's just from looking at the box score though.

The first 3 quarters were pretty close. We jumped out to an early lead and maintained it til the middle of the 2nd quarter. I think they were down 4 or 5 going into the 4th, and then could not score. I think it was the first 5 minutes of the 4th that we didnt score. They cut it to 5 or so in the 4th but could never get all the way back. Both teams went small at the start of the 4th. We had Watson, Westbrook, Mason, Green, and Durant out there but they seemed to force things and turned it over. Shaq wasnt even in the game I think and I'm not sure Amare was either. I almost want to say their biggest guy out there was Barnes.
