Anyone want Maggette??

Title says it all. As far as we're concerned he can be had for a bag of chips and a hot dog. So anyone want him and what could you offer? (Seriously, we'd almost accept anything at all)

OKC pretty sorted at SF with Durant and Green doubt OKC would be interested in Maggette.

We need a decent SG, but I don't think Maggette would be content being a possible fourth option behind KD, JG and RW.

any issues he has aside, he's just not really the right fit for this lineup...

19 ppg. I would take him. He would add some badly needed veteran leadership and would finish some games. I would send out Joe Smith's $5M expiring contract and Wilkins $3.1M for Maggette's $8.3M deal. He is a good trade asset if it does not work out. OKC will not find a better FA at that price. He needs to start and OKC needs a starting SG. GS gets cap space and a couple forwards until help arrives thru the draft.

Leadership?!?!? Maggette is one of the most selfish players in the league! He just puts his head down and hogs up his stats--he should have nothing to do with team. And a good trade asset? Nobody in the league will touch this guy right now... just think how much his value will drop if he hits his second team in one season and doesn't fit in.

I've gotta agree with Big L..

His ability to get to the hoop and the line would definitely be an asset for this team. But his me-first attitude and lack of 3pt range really makes him a bad fit for this team's SG slot.

Anthony Morrow is the perfect fit for us. Unselfish rookie who has a sweet, sweet outside shot. With a little luck, the Warriors will release him before the January 10th deadline (see ESPN's daily dime for Saturday).

Is there really any chance that they would release him? Everyone needs shooters, and he seems to have what it takes to play in the league.. Just don't understand why he would get axed to save a relatively small amount of money.

If he gets released we better do our best to pick him up. We need help at SG so he would definitely help.

No one knows why they're doing whatever they're doing over there in Oakland, but they just dumped DeMarcus Nelson and brought up that big kid from Alabama (it is Alabama, right?). Anyway, I would find it hard to believe, but why bring in Crawford?

Do they have to release anyone else? I saw on ESPN that there were 4 guys that could be cut.

The warriors are a team full of guards and waayyy too many offensive players that thrive with the ball in their hands. Problem is that there is only one ball for all those players to share.
