I think Rose was brought in to relieve what may be considered a log jam at the 4. Someone was pretty spot on earlier IMO.
Also, if/when Smith is bought out, he's not a bad replacement as a good vet. guy to have in your locker room. Not a bad deal, but not a Tyson Chandler deal either. Disappointing to say the least...

Malik Rose should be brought on as an assistant next year. That should be the point of this trade.
Also, didn't the Knicks give up some money to make this deal happen. I mean this isn't a trade worth pondering over to much and Wilcox wasn't in the plans for next year anyway.
So the the Thunder help a team in the other conference.
