I think so (Im not from OKC btw)
Here is proof of the HOME COURT ADVANTAGE we have by virtue of the fans (I know that other things add to it as well) I have listened to almost everygame this year and watched at least 90% of them and the one thing I think is most notable is that throughout the radio broadcasts the opposing radio commentators ALWAYS comment on how loud the fans in OKC are (especially for a team with so few wins)
Overall record 13 -43
Home Record 10 - 19
Away Record 3 - 24
If thats not enough for you - even in ONLY the losses we are more competitive at home.
Home average loss 8.6
Away Average Loss 12.1
Since Scottie Brooks took over
Home average loss 5.4
Away Average Loss 12.0

Re: OKC fans helping out with wins?
The city is definitely pumped up about the Thunder. The interesting thing to me, is that it's considered loud, but when you compare it to nearly any D-1 College basketball game, it's nowhere near as loud. Obviously the student sections are pretty much completely to blame for that... But it's just interesting how much more willing people (even non-students) are to yell and scream at a college game vs an NBA one.
