I still don't see too many options that would excite me for a trade of Green

I have a scenario for you.

OKC wins the lottery.

Sacramento ends up with the third pick.

OKC buckles under fans pressure and drafts Blake Griffin.

Do you try to trade Jeff Green for Kevin Martin(I would be willing to give up Green for Martin if OKC drafts Griffin)?

And if Sacramento says no do you counter with Green for the 3rd pick to draft Thabeet(personally I wouldn't do this but was just wondering if you would)?

If only Green and the Suns 2010 pick could land Martin and Thabeet.

It's a tough one. Probably have to go for the move, but one of Sefo or Weave would have to be moved if this scenario were to occur. Also another thing, the majority of the board feel that Thabeet should be the player the Thunder should go after since they need an active center who can crash the boards, put back shots, and keep the slashers from ownin the post at will. At this point until the night of the draft lottery, it maybe best if the Thunder pick between 3 and 4 rather than winning the lottery and having to trade the likes of Jeff Green since the tandum between himself, KD and Westbrook appears to be in sync right now.

No headache a simple jackpot.OKC is in positon of power picking no1.I only see the no1 as a win win.Draft griffin keep him, keep green he can get 30mins a game coming off the bench at sf or pf.Other option draft griffin and then trade him for one of Harden/Thabeet/Monroe/rubio plus other incentives future 1st or young prospect.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
