Durant to Miss 2-3 Weeks

Last night, Thunder SF Kevin Durant injured his ankle in a lost against the Dallas Mavericks. "

He suffered the injury in the first quarter and after trying to play through it, left the court for good a few minutes later.

Durant has a Grade II sprain, according to a team source. Team officials did reveal that X-rays on his right foot were negative."

Durant is expected to miss the next two to three weeks. A bad loss for the Thunder.

Well, at least we'll get to see a bit more of him before the year is up

I think that long term, this could be a good thing, as we'll get to evaluate all of our other players in extended minutes and roles. Obviously it hurts the team win-wise... but that's not a bad thing for the draft pick race either.

What a freaking waste of KD's injury tonight!

They just had to go and win against memphis grizzly bears!

If the Grizz defense was struggling like it has in recent weeks, maybe the Thunder wouldn't had a shot at winning. Otherwise, they had the better lineup along with a shot at winning the game.
