Why is Westbrook number "0"

I was just wondering. I didnt know if wwas because some one told him he was nothing or something like that. Ive heard those stories before. I know he wasnt recruited real hevaily out of high school, unlike Rose, Mayo, Beasley, and others.

I don't know if it's the "Gilbert Arenas" reason or not... haven't really heard anything specific about it.
