nick collison?

Post#1 » by Foshan » Thu Apr 2, 2009 6:12 pm

Philly fan here... don't get to see many OKC games cause they just aren't on much where i am, though i've caught a couple on TNT or online/what not. Anyway, just curious as to what OKC fans think about Collison? Is he liked? Do fans think he will be a long time part of the organization, or just an affordable back up for now?

Thanks :)

He's a solid role player, good rebounder and a good hustle player. I would hope that he's in our long term plans he's a solid player who's been with the organization for a long time.

I can't do anything more than echo what these guys said. He's a borderline starter and I think that he could be a backup big on a championship level team. Hopefully this team and he can both be part of that championship puzzle :)

I like Nick, I hope he wants to play for OKC, he's the kind of guy I like to cheer for.

I think he is perfect for the 6th-8th man role, and good enough to start for you if you have an injury.

Nick has always given a good effort, and plenty of clean, hard fouls. I know he isn't they most skilled or athletic guy but he works as hard as anyone. I can always use that kind of guy on my team.

I like the fact he does a good job playing either PF or C.

Obviously this team is being molded and shaped right now but I think Nick is a Presti kind of guy to begin with so I think he'll be around for a while.

But then again what are you willing to give up?

But I think with Nick he probably has more value to the Thunder then he would be to a team that is trying to trade for him.

His contract goes through the 2010/2011 season so a lot can happen in those two years. But yes I like Nick and hope he is around for a long time.

He's a guy I'd like to see the Warriors get, a solid Jeff Foster type, not much finesse but physical.
CENSORED... No comment.
