White and Weaver head to the D-League

No surprise, White continues his travels between Tulsa and OKC... However, in a very surprising move, we send Weaver with him? Not really sure how his came about? Maybe they want Weaver to get the confidence boost that goes along with playing in the D league, want him to get more shots, minutes, etc.

Who is going to play the 2 now? I guess maybe Watson goes back into the rotation, Livingston gets some solid minutes, and even Durant sliding to the two for a bit? Just a weird time to do it... the season is winding down and I would think they'd want to evaluate all of their players and how they're playing together...

Very disappointing for me
I hope they sent Weaver down to get him some minutes at the 1

I think since they signed Livvy that means Weaver is getting demoted for the time being.

Weaver should see a ton of minutes in the D-League.

I'm sure this Summer they will either trade Watson or cut Atkins. I can't see Weaver being down there for long term. I think he has shown he can contribute on an NBA level. They can't send Watson or Atkins down there because they have been in the league for so long. So they had to move someone to see what Livvy can bring to the table. However I'm sure they'd love to send Watson down there for good.

It is strange... Wiff's right, they must want to see if Livingston can play in this league.

Well I know you can only send down players who are rookies and second year players. Maybe third year players? But I think it's only rookie second year players. And obviously Watson and Atkins don't fit the bill. So Weaver is the odd man out.

I'm shocked, but if it's any consolation (to Kyle), we only have (less than) two weeks of basketball left to play.

And.... now they're back. That was weird?? Maybe they wanted them to be able to get a couple of games in with the 66ers while they weren't going to get many minutes with the Thunder for a couple of days??
