All of the guys on the list look like prospects MAYBE for our late 1st. But even at that, almost all of them seem like pretty huge reaches. Maybe we're working most of them out just in case we trade into the 2nd round at some point??

I will be interested to see how Joe Ingles goes just because he is a fellow Aussie. He is a skinny 6'8 and with decent handles and a solid shot. Don't know if he is good enough for NBA though, probably too skinny and weak.

He definately would not be a first round pick.

I don't see much ability to play at the 5 with him. That combined with the fact that he's not the home-run pick that Griffin is seen as (and therefore you can't think about moving Green to bring him in), I just don't see us ending up with him.

Just trying to think of a anything where we'd end up with him on our team and I don't see it. The only possibility I see is that we have the worst possible lottery, end up picking at 6 or 7 and he falls to us AND nobody wants to trade into that spot and get him.

Hill could play C, with his length and wingspan. However, a Green/Hill frontcourt would get mauled in the NBA.
I don't think Green is a long-term solution at PF in any case. He will either become a 6th man or a valuable trading chip.

Just wondering, would you guys do a deal involving Bosh for Green + #3 pick/fillers, assuming Bosh is going to sign an extension with you guys, seeing how OKC is close to his home in Texas, you have Durant, and Bosh would flourish as a #2 option, plus the development of Westbrook would give you guys a solid core, and you would be a contender imminently. And I don't believe Green is a great fit with Durant.

i think the more likely option is green and the #3 to LA for the #1 and randolph or kaman. knowing that u guys need a center, kaman would be a better choice. otherwise, with the third pick, thabeet would be the best choice. u guys have offense with westbrook, durant and green, now you need defense, which would have been chandler if that trade had gone thru

Bosh's contract sux. It would defiantly make the Thunder a winning team, but not a championship team.

I can't see Atlanta trading Horford for the 3rd pick though.

I think getting Harden would be great. I was reading the Daily Oklahoman (as much as I hate that paper) that he is what the Thunder dont have and vice versa. The more and more I hear about him I have to agree. I have said this before this pick needs to be Harden or Rubio. I'm not a fan of anyone else right now.

bmw, I agree. I would say I'm more in the Harden or Thabeet camp. Basically the only knock on Harden right now was his "disappearance" from the NCAA tourney. There's a lot of different reasons for it, but those 2 games don't phase me a whole lot. I think that his performance at the combine more than cancels out the tournament stuff for me. He's a very solid shooting guard and would fit well with the team.

I still think the idea of Thabeet is more what this team needs to Green/Durant, but Harden is definitely more of a sure thing. Thabeet is the potential home run pick and Harden is the safe pick. We'll see which way Presti goes in just a week!

uhhh, dont we already own your 2010 pick? Richardson isnt worth expirings and DJ white, especially when we can just flat out draft Harden

I think that's what he was saying... we would give them those players and give them back their 1st round pick.

I say no. The way things are heading for the Suns, that pick could end up being VERY good. Richardson is a good enough player, but like Yoshi said, we can just draft Harden and fill that void. Richardson is quite a bit older than the rest of the core and a short-term fix isn't really something you give up a decent prospect (White), a lottery pick, and expiring contracts for.

i might trade expirings for richardson then draft thabeet. that'd be an interesting team. richardson's only on the books for two more seasons and okc would have more than enough cap room to pursue a 2010 free agent if they wanted to.

The thing with Harden is I think he would flourish not having to be the main guy. On this team he would be the number 2, 3, or 4 scorer.

I would say no to Richardson since we can draft Harden and also have their pick for next year. There is a chance to have 2 lottery picks next year and if we were going to trade one of those picks, Richardson isnt the guy I would want to trade for.
