If you guys don't want Boozer yourself, how about getting him away from Utah and out of the West by participating in a three-way deal with the Bulls. Plus, you guys get Tyrus Thomas. Here is the deal:

OKC: Tyrus Thomas
Utah: John Salmons, Jerome James, Bulls # 1, Phoenix #1 (from OKC)
Bulls: Boozer, Korver

Tyrus costs you $4.7 million this year, then you have the same options that you have with Thabo.

Deal is cap neutral for the Bulls, and they get their big.

Utah shaves $4.7 million off the cap, plus two picks (which they can sell if they want) plus an upgrade at SF.

i think i'd rather trade collison for boozer or something along those lines because it saves the thunder a lot of money next season. bringing in tyrus thomas is nice, i think he'd be a great fit here, but it'd really create a log jam and it doesn't have the added benefit of saving money next year. also we'd be giving up a legitimate asset.

i'd rather just take boozer for collison rather than give up the pick. i like thomas a lot but it seems like the phoenix 1st for tyrus thomas would be a fair enough trade on its own. okc should get more since they are providing another asset: the cap space.

Its a good deal for us.

but I don't think Presti and the Utah Gm are going to help each other anytime soon. If Presti has a buddy system with Ferry, then O'Connor is on the other end of the scale!
