Yeah, I saw that. From the things I heard and the bits that I saw of summer league, it is a good idea to get him over here now. I think with one year in the NBA, getting minutes here and there, he could be a very good piece of our puzzle.

It's nice to see that they are going to bring him over. It will be interesting to see how his role progresses over the season.

I'm sure at the beginning of the season Collison will be getting the majority of the back up minutes at C and PF.

But come the trade deadline who knows what his role will be? I said this before I think he has a chance to be the best rookie on this team.

Of course I also said that when there was a chance the Thunder could have drafted Thabeet

Honestly it's going to be tough to be better than Harden but Ibaka really impressed during the Orlando Summer League. If he played like he did in Orlando it's going to be tough to keep him off the floor.

I like Collison a lot and he has always been a good pro and works hard at improving his game. But why do I have this feeling a trade package of Collison and Watson will be heading out this deadline?

I hope they are convinced he can play significant minutes. Otherwise, he (and the Thunder) would be much better off staying another season in the Spanish League rather than warming the bench. This guy needs to play above anything else.

Genjuro you make a great point.

I hope they are in line with your logic and find minutes for him because they could have left him in Spain for another year if they didn't think he was going to see the floor.

I think he's good for 14-18 minutes off the bench. That would be ideal for both parties. The Thunder would get an athletic defender who can finish in the right situations and Ibaka gets a chance to develop a little bit while practicing every day with this team.

The Thunder is starting to develop the young new bigs (White, Mullens, Ibaka), hope it won't fail this time.

the thign with all those guys they have offensive ability. Even Krstic is known for his shot. It looks like Presti wants bigs who can play offense and hopefully be able to develop into a good defender.

The Thing about bringing him over in a few years and letting him show some good game, the Spanish teams could offer him more then he could make on an NBA rookie scale. Meaning it might not be so easy to get him here later on.

Good move by Presti I tihnk.
