Kind of agree. The numbers aren't adding up for Harden as a ROY favorite (contrary to what I said all of 3 or 4 hours ago :-P)

However, Harden did play his role tonight. Thing was... Durant, Green, or Westbrook was on the floor for the entire game (might be incorrect about this, but it seemed that way). Brooks didn't leave much need for one of the bench guys to take the scoring load upon himself. Don't know if it was just to let Harden ease into it, or if this splitting the starter minutes to keep a couple of them on the floor at all times thing will become a trend.

Can't wait to see you guys Sunday, I like some of the talent you got on your team. I was wondering about Harden though, how has the guy done so far? I haven't seen any box scores that he stood out, has he looked lost or like a NBA balla?

You know Harden to me has shown that he is a rookie. He has had moments where he has looked really good for a stretch and has also had a few moments where you could see he was pressing.

He's shown a willingness to pass, nice passes too. He has taken a very nice charge against Kobe Bryant and actually got the call but he beat him to the spot ( I wonder if the old ref Tim Donnohegy (sp) statements in his book had anything to do with that?).

He has missed some easy jumpers but has also shown he has NBA range on his stroke.

He's been pretty decent, I'm not going to predict All-Star anytime in his near future, but as a 3rd or 4th option hell yeah I like it.

I would say he's been very solid, however he's shown the passiveness that he had at ASU. I was really hoping that he'd shed that after being such a high pick and coming in with a fairly significant role on this team.

15 mins a game, I thought he'd be getting at least 24-30mins per game

I do expect him to get better as the season progresses ala Eric gordon last year

What is wrong with Harden? So much more was expected from him - I barely saw him play against Orlando. It seems odd.

Also what's going on with Green? His numbers the past couple of games have been pretty bad.

Thabo has been playing great, so Harden is being brought along slowly. He played a Zone defense in college and Brooks is trying to let him work out man defense before giving him major minutes i think.

Green is in a minislump, but its early season. He'll come back with a few good ones soon.l

Green this last game was more just picking up quick fouls than anything... but yeah, the past 2 games he's been kind of a non-factor. Hopefully the couple of quickly approaching games can change that :)

harden is coming along slowly but surely. his numbers keep going up slightly each game, once he gets comfortable i expect him to contribute on a consistent basis.

So James Harden is now shooting 41.5% from the field and from three point range. His offensive efficiency is climbing steadily, and his peripheral #'s (assists, rebounds, and steals) are all above average at 5 / 5 / 2 per 36 minutes.

He's also appeared to improve on defense, he gets a lot of steals and rebounds well for a guard. He does continue to foul a bit too much, however.

I'm really excited about James Harden. He's kind of been playing under the radar with Jennings and Tyreke Evans looking so great. I'm hoping he continues to recieve more minutes, he's been so efficient offensively. Once his FG% gets up a bit more people will start to take more notice.

How do you guys feel about Harden and Sefolosha? I have Sefolosha on my fantasy team and he's been really impressive with his all-around numbers and OKC is winning with him in the starting lineup. It seems like he's become the the Thunder's version of Bruce Bowen/Tayshaun Prince.

I was a big fan of Harden in college though and i really feel like he can be the Robin to Durant's Batman. IMO Green and Westbrook are #3 options. Harden can develope into that legit all-star #2 guy. Do you feel like your coach is slowing Harden's development? Whenever I watch him play he doesn't play like your average rookie, he plays with a high bball IQ and he's in alot better shape then he was in college.
